GROUP WORK : You will be assigned to groups, for the purpose
of preparing homework.
Each group meets outside of class to prepare the assigned problems
for the next class, when
I will randomly choose certain groups to present problems. The presenter
from each group
(a job to be rotated) should put the problem on the board. After the
presenter explains the
problem, I will assign 0 - 3 points to the presenter, depending on
the correctness and clarity
of the solution. These daily homework sets will be collected
from each student about once
per week, and not accepted if late. Your lowest homework will
be dropped.
TUTOR LAB : Daily (9:00am - 8:00pm) in 2257 Rood, except closes at 4:00pm on Friday.
MARCH 4 : This is the last date a student can process an official withdrawal
from the course,
to avoid a possible E grade. Incompletes are rarely given, and
they are never given as a
substitute for a failing grade.
