I am currently working on computational models of early stages of visual processing with Mike Shelley and Bob Shapley . Before that, I worked on qualitative behavior of generalizations of the Toda Lattice with Tony Bloch and Michael Gekhtman .

Before WMU : I have taught Mathematical Analysis I and Introduction to Complex Variables at RPI. I have also taught Pre-calculus , Calculus I , and Calculus II at the University of Michigan. I was a teaching assistant for Vector Calculus. I worked in the Mathlab tutoring students as well. At the University of Chicago, I was a teaching assistant to a year-long Calculus class. I have also been involved with programs for junior high and high school students: Michigan Math Scholars, the King-Chavez-Parks Program, and the Young Scholars Program.
