PHYS 1150 - General Physics II
4 hrs. Fall, Winter, and Summer
This course follows PHYS 1130 and consists of studies in electricity,
magnetism, light, and atomic and nuclear physics. Many schools of engineering
will not accept PHYS 1130, 1140, 1150, 1160 for transfer credit. A
student cannot receive credit for both PHYS 1150 and PHYS 2070. Prerequisite:
PHYS 1130. Corequisites: (none)
PHYS 1160 - General Physics II Laboratory
1 hr. Fall, Winter, and Summer
This is a laboratory course which includes exercises related to topics
covered in PHYS 1150. Normally this course is taken concurrently with PHYS
1150. A student may not receive credit for both PHYS 1160 and PHYS 2080.
Corequisite: PHYS 1150.
- Should you require calculus-based physics in the future, there is a
conversion course PHYS-2150 (see Physics Dept.).
