The Long Island Sound and the Atlantic Ocean are bodies of water that boarder Connecticut. Connecticuts state abreveation is CT, and Connecticut is known as the "Constitution State." The Capital of Connecticut is Hartford, which is located in the middle of the state. The state flower is the Mountain Laurel, the state bird is the American Robin, and the state song is "Yankee Doodle."
