Teaching Philosophy

I believe that each child is unique and those differences require different ways of teaching. No child learns the same, so that's why its important to use different teaching methods. It's important to me that I collaborate with other teachers and that I'm always updating and improving my own work. I want children to leave my classroom excited and joyful about learning. I want them to have the feeling that they are capable of anything they put their mind to and most importantly to never give up.

In highschool I worked at a Dry Cleaners and I still work there when I go home over vacations or breaks. I work with customers as well as assembly and organizational work for the company. I have also worked at Wendys for a few months doing fast food work. Now I currently am an RA for the Burnham Hall on campus and I work in the cafeteria part time.
