Over the course of my formal education, I have had many opportunities to work with diverse student populations, diverse colleagues, and diverse faculty. Through these experiences, I have come to be sensitive to the needs of alternative cultures. |

At Greater Faith Empowerment Center, I played guitar for 2 years. I had the opportunity of working with people of different cultures and values in a cooperative manner. I have made many friends there who have changed my perspective on life. |
Being a student at Western Michigan University, I have had the opportunity to meet some wonderful people. WMU also provides a chance for many different cultures to come together and celebrate the value of education. Here at Western, I have had the opportunity to embrace and enhance cultural and academic learning experiences. |
