Weekly Homework Assignments

  1. Language Arts WS due Monday
  2. Science Test on Tuesday
  3. Math pg. 14 #1-18 due Wednesday
  4. History Paper (rough draft) due Thursday
  5. No homework on Friday - Have a great weekend :)

Reading List

  • To Kill A Mockingbird
    • Great story about social inequity and racial injustice
  • The Hobbit
    • Inspirational story of overcoming fear and building special friendships, it is also a prequal to all of the Lord of the Rings Trilogies.
  • Tuesday's With Morrie
    • MUST READ!
  • The Tortilla Curtain
    • An extremely powerful novel about social inequity in the United States.

More books will be added at a later date, you are expected to read one of these novels and write a book report due at the end of the year.

Click here to view a website that provides various classroom activities for all subject areas. This site allows students to play games and take quizzes that correlate with our curriculum. It is a great classroom extention.

Kids' Page

By clicking here, you will be guided to a website that allows students to practice and familiarize themselves with course content. The site also provides examples of science fair experiments, which will be coming up soon.

Multiplication.com

If students click here, you will be taken to a website that has lots of different opportunities for students to learn their multiplication tables. Multiplication is an important unit in mathematics, and this site will be a great resource for fun activities.
