I chose to major in elementary education because I love children and I love school. What better career could I choose? The minors I have chosen will also allow me to teach science in a self- contained classroom. I plan to continue my education to achieve endorsements in language arts and social studies. In fact, the picture shown below was taken while I was teaching a second grade classroom a language arts unit based on Helen Keller. Don't they look engaged!!
