Honestly, college has many more aspects then what I expected. I came to Western Michigan University thinking that I as an individual would almost be lost in the crowd. I would be another number contributing to the student body. I was very much wrong. This university is not big, but it is not incredibly small. It is almost the perfect size for any student to adapt extremely easy. While here at Western, I plan on becoming more of an individual and answering unanswered questions in my life. I want to know what I can live with and what I can not. I want to know which friends will stay with me through the thick and the thin, no matter what. None the less, I plan on becoming the best person as a student and hard worker that I can be.

Professionally, I want to figure out what career path would best suit me and my personality. One of my goals here at Western Michigan University is to be accepted on the dean’s list. Having that kind of standing point in college would be amazing and highly looked upon by my family. Looking back on my high school grades I know that I tried hard and meant well, but sometimes that did not show. Here at Western, I will succeed academically and leave here with many friends that I will have for the rest of my life. I will receive a job right off the bat, before graduation. I know that the sacrifices that I will make will be life changing but absolutely for the better.
