Collegiate Objective

Personal:  On a personal level, I came to college because I love to learn.  I have always enjoyed going to school and I could never picture myself not learning.  I also came to college to further my excitability of learning about and meeting new people.  I enjoy meeting people, and I have definitely done a lot of that this year.  Throughout my college career, I know that the friends that I had prior to entering Western Michigan University and those I have made during my enrollment will continue to be my friends for years to come and continue to express their love for school and higher education the same as I will.

Professional:  On a professional level, I have come to Western Michigan University in order to gain a higher education in order to get the job in the career that I want: finance.  I would not have been able to do so to the extent that I desire (full financial position) without a degree from a respectable four year university.  I want to be able to do the best that I can while in college.  I do not want my grade point average to fall below a 3.7 at all during my college career, as I want to graduate with very high honors.  Everything that I learned in high school: determination, dedication, responsibility, and punctuality, will help me achieve everything I want in order to become what I want after graduating from college in the next three to four years.
