I truly believe that all children are capable of learning. With the correct instruction, materials, and patience, each child is able to conquer all of their goals in life. I believe each student should be allowed the same opportunity in life, and nothing should stop them in their path. Each student must focus on their learning and their full potential, with the help of their teacher, to become who they want to be.

I have been to many incredible schools through my education. I began at Donges Bay Elementary School in Mequon, Wisconsin and completed grades K-2. I then attended Milwaukee Jewish Day School from 3-8 grade in Glendale, Wisconsin. I graduated high school from Homestead High School in Mequon, Wisconsin, and am now a student at Western Michigan University where I will finish my degrees in education.

I have worked quite a bit with children. I was a counselor at B'nai B'rith Beber Camp in Mukwonago, Wisconsin. A great overnight, Jewish, co-ed camp where I attended for many summers. I also worked at a theraputic riding center with children who had many different disabilities. I enjoyed these jobs very much, and was honored to take on such great positions.

I believe I am very lucky with the personality I have been born with. I am outgoing and have a heart made for children. I am exteremly compassionate and understanding, which allows me to work very closely with my students and have the patience teachers need. I believe I am very motivating and can really help children through hard timse and harder assignments they made need. Although compassionate, patient, and understanding, I still am very confident in my teaching abilities, and really love my profession. I am still able to be stern and assertive when the time is right.

I have always been very active in the volunteer work. In middle school, I worked at a day care for three years as a volunteer, helping out in the many classrooms after school. I also volunteered at Blackstar Farms, as well as Lakefield Farm, both back in Wisconsin. I worked with the children and their horses at both farms, and helped them with their skills and talents upon horseback. These were just a few of my volunteer activities, but there were many more along my road. I truly love to horseback ride, it is my main hobby in life. I also love animals of all kinds, and spend my time at a veterinary office helping there. I love to waterski as well, I learned this at a very young age and have always loved to partake in this activity.

I believe I have met many of the ISTE Technology Standards for Preservice Teachers while working on this project. There are many reasons, although some listed below:

* Identify the benefits of technology to maximize student learning and facilitate higher order thinking skills

* Design and teach technology-enriched learning activities that connect content standards with student technology standards and meet the diverse needs of students

* Design and peer teach a lesson that meets content area standards and reflects the current best practices in teaching and learning with technology

* Plan and teach student centered learning activities and lessons in which students apply technology tools and resource

* Use technology productivity tools to complete required professional tasks

* Examine acceptable use policies for the use of technology in schools, including strategies for addressing threats to security of technology systems, data and information

* Differentiate between appropriate and inappropriate uses of technology for teaching and learning while using electronic resources to design and implement learning activities

* Identify and engage in technology-based opportunities for professional education and lifelong learning, including the use of distance education
