Question 3: What is a safe size table? Explain why it is important to use a safe size when you use tables for designing your webpage?A safe size table is a table whose width does not exceed the maximum width of the lowest resolution monitor in use. Currently, 800 pixels width is the lowest monitor resolution. So, your table should never be wider than 800 pixels. Typically staying between 700 pixels and 750 pixels is a safe bet for the size of your safe size table. By utilizing safe size tables, your reader and viewer of your site will be able to view the text, content, and information as you originally intended without word wrapping or other obstacles ruining the information. |
