My name is Arielle and I am a sophomore at Western Michigan University. I created this web site for my Computer Applications class as an introduction to dreamweaver and creating web sites. I chose a neutral gray background and therefore picked a dark color for my text. My header is a yellow-gold color to support the colors of WMU. I chose these neutral colors to make my web site look professional. Had I wanted to make it personal to me I would have used bright colors and more pictures to show my bold personality. I placed a picture of myself in the header along with my name, links to my email, and a resume I recently created can be found on my web site I think this web site is an introduction to who I am without revealing to much personal information.
A web site I use frequently for myself is the student recreation web site for WMU. This site can be found at http://src.wmich.edu/ It has valuable information about the hours of operation along with available classes and upcoming events. The web site is easy to navigate and utilizes great pictures and clip art. The site has scrolling text that catches your attention and makes you read what they are advertising.
