The group provides architectural, engineering, and construction services for manufacturing, distribution, and heavy industrial facilities. It also offers construction management for educational and institutional projects, and is one of the top US school builders. H+M Company is consistently ranked among the nation's top design/build firms. In 1957 Charles "Chicken" Fite and Frank Warmath established the company, which became one of the first US contractors to use design/build project delivery. Chairman David Fite, his brother Richard Fite (CEO), and president and COO Jim Campbell own the company.
H+M Company has completed projects for major retailers such as Wal-Mart, Williams-Sonoma, and Ross Stores. The company has also won numerous school construction contracts in Tennessee and Georgia.
