Teaching
Resources
For every book you read in literature circles, prepare
a "Teaching Resources Page." These pages will be published
on the web as a permanent resource for teachers--so be sure to do careful,
high-quality work.
Your page should include:
-
An introduction to the literary work and a statement
about the most appropriate grade levels for teaching the work.
-
Eight or more study or discussion
questions that would be helpful to students and teachers reading
the work.
-
Ideas for teaching the work, including ideas for activities,
assignments, essays, additional reading. books to pair it with, etc.
-
A list of websites that might be helpful for teachers
or students studying the work. (Each web address should have a one-sentence
description of what the site is and why it is useful.)
These assignments should be sent by email to Dr. Webb, allen.webb@wmich.edu.
