On a personal level I hope for college to do a lot for me. For one I am 2 hours from home. Not only for the satisfaction of myself, but also for family and close friends, I hope to achieve a business degree from Western Michigan University. It is my personal goal to leave this school in four years with a better understanding of life and a better understanding of the everyday business life. Sure it’s easy to say this… I understand college will be hard work, or maybe I don’t. Currently I am only a freshman but what I really hope to gain from college is a sense of purpose in today’s society.

On a more professional goal, I hope to achieve a lot. First off, in four years it is my goal to be out of here and working full time, living on my own and supporting myself, and maybe a wife, if I get lucky. I want to leave school being satisfied with how I have just spent the last four years of my life. I hope to get a degree in something related to business (not yet decided). If I leave here and get a nice paying job that I enjoy then is when I will be satisfied. But for now there is much more work to do.
