My philosophy of teaching is the belief the younger students of the world will one day be running it. Just like how our generation is close to being the current work force, soon it will be passed down to the next. This in essence is what has been happening throughout the existence of man. And I believe that it is very important that the future people of the world are smart and have a good idea of what type of planet they are going to be in for the rest of their lives.

About me

I have worked with students of all ages many times throughout my life. Ever since I was young, I have always wanted to be a teacher. In high school I gave music lesson for about 2 years. And also for some professional courses here at WMU, I have had to visit a number of classrooms, observe, help out, and teach lessons to students. Never have I had a problem with doing this, also I seem to be able to communicate with them without trouble. I one day hope to have a classroom of my own, full of wide eyed students who are ready to learn. And for the past four years I have spent all my time in striving to become a successful teacher.

Hobbies, skills, and talents

When I was younger, My parents let me take flying lessons. It was a dream of mine to become a pilot and so this gave me the chance to continue this goal. Also, through much of my more mature life, I have been into the Martial Arts. I have done a lot of competitive Karate and Judo, both of which I have been invited to the national open competitions multiple times. I have always been musically talented. I have played the Saxophone for about ten years now. And I am in the WMU marching band (third year), which I am on first chair and have become drill Instructor.
