Introduction

Hello and welcome to my student disk quota tutorial. I've been a student at Western for over three years, but it wasn't till last year that someone showed me how to adjust my disk quotas. Before that, I wasn't even aware there was an option to change it. Upon creating this tutorial, I also discovered that I had an additional amount of storage that was unused. Quotas are part of your GoWMU account, which not only students have but teachers do as well. I work in the Study Abroad I.T. department, and have had to demonstrate a number of times how to change disk quotas for teachers with full WMU main accounts. This tutorial should be useful to demonstrate to others why a simple adjustment to your disk quota can be so useful.
