Psy 6130: Behavioral Pharmacology, 3 credit hours

 

This is an advanced graduate course on the behavioral actions of psychoactive drugs. Neuropharmacological principles and mechanisms of drug action are reviewed, although the main emphasis of this course is on the research tools and behavioral procedures employed in behavioral pharmacology. Examples of classic and current research in behavioral pharmacology are examined. Prerequisite: Psy. 610 or instructor's permission.
