Statistics

Begin by pressing STAT (second row third column) to retrieve the statistics worksheet. Choose CALC (next to EDIT page) and choose 1: 1-Var Stats by pressing ENTER. Now put the list we created above into the
1-Var Stats. By doing so, press 2nd, LIST (above the STATS key). Under NAMES choose the XDATA we created in the steps above, press ENTER. On the screen you should see 1-Var Stats XDATA. Now press ALPHA (the green key) and then SOLVE (above the ENTER key)

Since we have only entered figures for one variable, x, at this point, choose the one-variable statistics setting, 1- V.  The calculator will compute the figures as you scroll through using the up and down arrows.
