For one variable statistics, begin by pressing f (the yellow key) and (above the f key), this erases all previous data in the registry.

The yearly return on the Market over a period of five years is given:

Enter the data following by pressing ENTER key and the key (bottom row second column from the right)

X01 = 23.8 ENTER,
X02 = -7.2 (7.2 CHS), ENTER,
X03 = 6.6 ENTER,
X04 = 20.5 ENTER,
X05 = 30.6 ENTER,

Now that the single variable data has been entered, the next step is to perform the statistical calculations.
