Technical Abstract The WMU Department of Paper Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Imaging (PCI) hosts a yearly Flexo Day where the key topic for 2005 was RFID. Following an excellent presentaion by Mr. Jim Parker from Graphic Solutions, LLC, Dr. Bazuin presented the attached "in-depth review" of RFID that also includes information on RFID support and activities in southwestern Michigan. Flexo Day is a student-organized event with the purpose of uniting both printing majors and the flexographic industry for learning and networking opportunities. Professionals within the flexographic and/or related indistries are invited to speak at this assembly, to address flexography's "state of the union," and to touch on a selected key topic. For mor information, contact the WMU PCI Department.
