I am currently pursuing a degree in Sales and Marketing.  Sales and marketing is one of the most interesting aspects of business to me.  I like the concept of how a business markets itself to the public and I know I would enjoy this as a career.  There are many things that are overlooked by the average eye when pertaining to a business.  Such things are the business' target market, the production of it's product or service, and the basic logistics of the business.  Every business uses these fundamentals so I know I will be able to apply this degree to almost any business I decide to go to work for. My goals here at Western Michigan University are to simply fulfill all requirements in order to achieve the success level I'm shooting for.  I believe that knowledge is power and the only thing that will get me where I want to be in life is education.  My grades are a direct reflection of work ethic, so as you can imagine, my grades are very important to me.  My biggest fear in life is to be unsuccessful.  The only kryptonite to that fear is my education.  I know that the economy is not in the best shape it has ever been in, but I feel a college education is the most insured road to the top.  I will never settle for less.  The principle that "if you believe, you shall acheive" has always been instilled in me.  I DO believe that I will succeed providing that I do my part as a student and perform to my fullest capabilities.  The world is full of endless possibilities... it is up to YOU to explore them!
