Hey Everyone back home! This week was okay...but I am sick of school already (imagine that). Today I went to the beach with my friends (which was totally crazy because its like raining and cold and stuff). We went to this beach, Pollock, that is kind of the surfing/body-boarding beach. We were swimming, which was not a good idea. I learned this the hard way when three consecutive 9-foot waves knocked me down three separate times and tore my bikini bottom to my ankles and my top to my belly button. Fun, eh? My friend even grabbed me by the hair while I was swirling underwater to keep me from hitting incoming body-boarders and surfers. After that I was done swimming. I saw a crab then (or some other creepy little moving thing) and then I was done with the beach (for today at least). I do like watching surfer dudes though...a lot. I can't wait until I can surf! That is really the only remotely interesting thing that has happened to me this week, and since I am not going to bore you with boring everyday things I guess I'll just jet and talk to you later. Have a wonderful <sigh> week of school. Like that's possible. I don't mean to be melancholy but seriously, even school in Africa gets a bit much. Especially when you wear a skirt that someone would only wear in the states while selling girl scout cookies.

Okay, now I just read my dad's entries about everything. Now, they are a bit long and in depth in various things that do not interest me, but I would recommend reading them, if you haven't already. They really show his perspective. A note: About school houses, mine is Duppie....and we always lose.
