We took a trip with Aunt Karie and her family to Cape Town. First we went to Monkey Land where there were a lot of monkeys. Then we went to "Big Tree," which was a 800-year old tree in the forest. It was cool. We drove 4 hours to Mossel Bay and stayed at Marina's cottage with Aunt Karie's family and the de Jagers. The next day when we woke up we saw dolphins. They were beautiful. Then we drove to the Southern most part of Africa, where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet. I loved playing on the rocks and touching the Atlantic and then the Indian Ocean. We then drove to Hermanus. In the morning we went for tea at Marina's mom and dad's house. Then we climbed a little mountain (Hoy's Koppe) and had lunch at the top. After that, we drove for an hour to Gordon Bay, where we stayed for 3 days. In the mornings we would play on the ocean rocks and find starfish and hold them. After that, we drove to Cape Town. Aunt Karie left after we stayed at Gordon Bay. While in Cape Town, we drove to a cute village, called Stellenbosch, and had lunch. It was in the mountains. We also went on top of this mountain called Table Mountain. The site was beautiful on the top. It's called Table Mountain because it is flat on the top. Kara and dad went surfing with a surfing instructor. They were really good. We are now waiting for Uncle Bill and Anna to come this week.
