Here at Western Michigan University, I, Ben Samson, have thought about many of my professional goals that I want to achieve when I graduate from college. One of my goals for my career is to be my own boss. I will use college to help me achieve this by maintaining good grades, and using my classes to understand how to run a successful business. Another one of my professional goals is to make over six figures when I recieve the job that I want to have. I will use college to help me reach this goal by always making sure my work is done so that I can get good grades. If my employer sees my great resume, they will have to pay me more money. These are just some of my professional goals.

There are many personal goals that I have set for myself at Western Michigan University. Being a student athlete on the football team, one of my most important goals is to start when I am a sophomore on the football field. This will demonstrate not only excellence on the field, but also in the classroom because I cannot play if I have poor grades. Another one of my goals at Western is to maintain a grade point average higher than a 3.5 all four years of my studying. If I can accomplish this goal, it will show that I am a very hard worker, and also show that I can handle a career with lots of work that will pay me a good amount of money. I want the world to think of me as someone who not only does the work, but someone who wants to do it right in order to achieve great success. The goals that I have set for myself at Western Michigan are difficult, but I plan to achieve them with flying colors.
