Pace the reader by expressing thanks for the interview.		Thank you for the time you spent with me when you visited Virginia Commonwealth University last week. I enjoyed talking with you about the possibility of working as a Web Design Specialist for Communication Unlimited.

Lead by showing that you learned something from the interview.		Since we've talked, I've given further thought to the questions you asked about my lack of formal training in writing skills, and I very much appreciated your suggestion that I take an additional writing class before graduation.

Blend outcomes by showing that you are willing to do what it takes to correct any perceived deficiencies in your suitability for the job and emphasizing your strengths.		To improve my writing skills, I have enrolled in Persuasive Writing, one of the advanced business communication classes at Virginia Commonwealth that will be offered during the summer term. I believe that the additional writing class; combined with my extensive background in computer systems, HTML, Java, and Unix; will make me exceptionally well-qualified for the job of Web Design Specialist. As you stated in the interview, your main concern is to hire someone who can assume responsibility for creating web pages that match your clients' expectations for creative design and clear communication. Based on your comments on my portfolio and my previous success in web page design, I believe that I would be able to do that for you.
