		Dear Mr. Swados:
Begin with the transmittal.		The enclosed schedule, Mr. Swados, shows you what I propose for the summer Scouting program.
Provide the necessary explanation.		The three weekend outings (11-12 June, 9-10 July, and 30-31 July) will prepare the boys and girls for the week-long Jamboree scheduled for 13 to 20 August. As the schedule shows, on each of the weekends and during the Jamboree, nearly all the Scouts' time will be structured and supervised.
Specify who should do what next.		When I receive your approval and suggested changes, I will have the schedule printed and distributed to area leaders.
