Follow these steps to insert an OLE Item:
1. Select the OLE Item tool.
2. Position the OLE crosshairs on page where object (or object icon) is to be inserted; click mouse.
3. List of available Windows applications will appear. Select application from the list and click OK.
4. Application automatically launches, create or open the object to insert on destination page.
5. Close application. The OLE item (or its icon) will be inserted on the page at the specified location.

Document Search:

Two different methods designed for finding objects:
1. View Request: Once a document has been imported and linked with a data record, recall the record, click the View button, instantly all objects linked with that record are available to view.
2.
Document Search: All linked objects can be accessed via Document Search utility. Objects can be located independent of the host application, easily and quickly out of millions of objects.

The Document Search Window

Each line represents a document, consisting of one or multiple objects. Objects in a document share indexing DocKeys. Column headings correspond to DocKeys (bold type) and statistics (normal type).
