Employee Living Memorial for 9/11/2001
funded by the employees of Western Michigan University

Soon after the tragic events of September 11, 2001, a core group of employees met together to begin the planning of a memorial dedicated to the victims, survivors and families of these tragedies. Our basic premise was to build a site, solely from employee contribtions, where WMU employees, students and community members could come for quiet thought, prayer and reflection.

Bird's eye-view of proposed site. Sketch and layout compliments of Landscape Services. Site sketch
