February 2007:
Week 2/05:
- Got a series 400 Kronos clock from TCS and programmed it to check new DST settings, but we decided to wait to pursue this until after conference call with Kronos per DST solution.
- Completed January archive of workflows. Sent statistics to FA - 44 of the new Appeals workflows completed and 1578 Doc_notify workflows completed and to HIGE - 319 application workflows.
- Testing BTRNG workflow instance as Dale applied DST patches and worked through java and other issues with Sungard.
- BPPRD workflow instance down a lot this week to apply/test DST patch, so few new mods to Math workflow. Next meeting with Math for workflow demo is next week.
- Some confusion with testing transcripts in test Banner 7.3.1. Printouts not clean, and discovered were not testing through Appworx, which executes script to remove page breaks.
- Rebooted Xtender server - users getting errors after connection disabled.
- Added three userids for Registration into Xtender as we move forward with this project. Also setup, installed driver and successfully tested new RG scanner and scan station.
- Added one RG Imagenow user, deleted another, updated list.
- Reporting tool cheat-sheet to FA for monitoring appeals workflows which have metrics tracking.
- Time/date refresh to Kronos clocks.
- Copied off December Kronos punch log file.
Week 2/12:
- New CAS form - client wants on special sealed form; have asked Daoli to add address information on separate data line. Began adding these to data definition and gave production control resource names so they could build queue in Infoprint.
- DST patch for workflow and testing complete. Dale encountered unreliability with Windows XP and IE 7. Will monitor after in production and ask clients to revert back to IE 6 if it becomes issue.
- Conference call with Kronos and dba's per DST issue. They will report back with recommendations.
- Xtender technical meeting in Henry on how to proceed with hardware, software installs and other issues.
- Final mods to Math workflow and ready to demo; meeting this week postponed due to client illness.
- Weekly workflow meeting.
- Rebooted Kronos comm manager per payroll - missing custodial punches now showing.
- Deleted four HR users; added 1; updated list.
- Had Registration clients verify they can now access Xtender via Banner in BPPRD.
- Workflow demo for application group set for 2/27.
Week 2/19:
- HR requested insurance bill forms printed after changes to overlay to reflect new WIN and address info. Changes made, compiled, and forward resource name onto prod. control so they could print copies.
- Data placement on CAS letter and testing print; received Infoprint errors, viewed log and am investigating.
- Punches on one custodial clock not showing. I was able to ping and see punches, and no error messages. Chuck B. will send some one to check.
- Two hour Xtender demo for Admissions and Registration folks held in HIGE.
- Tested psf print per Dennis for new disaster recovery site.
- Met with Math per workflow; working on additional mods requested.
- Weekly workflow meeting.
- Athletic workflow mods and testing. Tom M. will get with Athletics so we can demo.
Week 2/26:
- Workflow overview and demo to applications group.
- Imagenow DST patch applied successfully this past weekend. Tested client.
- New CAS letter resources compiled and tested successfully. Printout from Daoli's test file to delivered to client.
- Prod control had to recreate HR bill queue. Once done, I printed off several hundred copies pre request.
- Further mods to A & S workflow after last Friday's meeting.
- FA verify workflow trigger complete. Have requested FA test and if all goes well we promote to production.
- Met with Tom M. to discuss needs for setting up new graduate department workflow to inform academic units when a new applicant has been entered in the system via SAAADMS. He will get client specs, as I begin build of workflow and populating oracle table with academic emails.
- Added new Kronos clock device for Aviation, defined to Comm channel, programmed and activated; sent updated clock list to payroll.
- Archived off completed production workflows through mid-Feb.
- Processors in FA unable to see Imagenow batch files. New person scanned who was not added by FA to batch filter file. Updated file and sent reminder to FA tech person.
- Copied off February Kronos log file and did time/date refresh to clocks.
- Admissions called with some visit reservation forms printed incorrectly from previous night's batch. Did some investigating and discovered bad data entered via web page (user used tab within address field).
