|
Day
began with visit to the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations located in the
old walled citadel of Ankara. After museum visit, we drove to Konya. Had
traditional tea with Nazli Kocbecker and her family. Nazli is an early childhood
educator at Seljuk University in Konya. In the evening we were privileged
to view a whirling dervish ritual. Our hotel in Konya was Hotel Balikcilar. |

Vedat
is giving us an introduction to the museum. It is an exceptional museum for
those interested in Turkey's past.
