|
As
you might expect, people in Kenya and Tanzania spend their time working
in various jobs and otherwise engaged in subsistence activities, as
well as enjoying one another's company. While people in rural areas
are more likely to be challenged in meeting daily water and fuel needs,
poor urban dwellers may have water but face dangerously poor sanitation.
Although different in complexion, hunger is a problem for people in
urban as well as rural settings, and, as elsewhere in the world (including
the US), the gap between rich and poor can be startling. As these photos
and videos demonstrate however, people are generally busy with the activities
of living, and joy is a common happening.
