These
are just a few examples of the diversity of architectural styles and
materials in Nairobi as well as Nakuru. There are very tall landmarks
like you would see in any city as well as apartment buildings that are
fairly typical. At the same time, there are modest structures made from
mud and available materials. Although I did not photograph any, there
are also cardboard and other makeshift shelters in the poorest areas.
