Modest Home Exterior:  This is a house in one of Nairobi's neighborhoods (known as "estates"). It is constructed of stone and mud, with a corrugated tin roof. It is one of several houses facing inward on a courtyard, creating a sense of community for the residents. There is a shared latrine/outhouse.
