Maize Preparation:  In this clip our hosts kindly demonstrate maize grinding. Indoors, our host's wife shows how it can be ground to a fine flour, and in front of the house she and a friend demonstrate how grains could be pounded in a mortar with a large pestle. This is backbreaking and arm straining work.
