Building Nkaji Naibor:  Seeing the house as it is being built gives you a good idea of how a lowland Samburu house is constructed. This house was actually built in the highlands and destroyed after its ceremonial use was accomplished. Regardless of what kind of house they actually live in, Samburu have a sense of lowland material culture and daily practices as being "really" Samburu.
