Goat Pen :  The goat pen is in the foreground. This is for slightly older goat and sheep kids. Young goats and sheep are penned up while their mothers are being milked and for the night. You can see a lowland Samburu house in the background of this picture. The yellow on the roof is plastic sheeting, used by women when they can get it, to augment the suuti's (roof mats') role of keeping rain out of the house. The cluster of branches in the center left of the picture is a large animal enclosure.
