SAMBURU : Daily Life
|
The
photos and videos featured here are of rural, lowland Samburu. The families
I know herd livestock (cattle, sheep, goats, and camels), as well as
selecting some of their children to attend school and get formal sector
jobs. When found in or near their settlements, my lowland Samburu friends
can be seen doing a variety of things--herding animals, doing local
crafts for pleasure and home maintenance, singing, playing, or even
simply posing for the camera.
