| Man Slaughtering Goat: I took this in a riverbed near a friend's settlement. My friend was an excellent host, and sent one of his lmurran ("warrior") sons to slaughter a goat for us. After killing the animal, Samburu put it on a bed of clean, dry, aromatic leaves while they butcher it. After that, he roasted it on branches. |
