Education

While enrolled at Western Michigan University, I have taken a variety of classes. I feel that most of them have contributed to my decision to become an early elementary major. Some of my favorite courses include: Human development, Literacy development, and Educational psychology.

This semester I am involved in a pre-internship through my ED 351 course. This allows me to go into a kindergarten classroom two hours a week to help the children with their reading lessons. I feel that this is a good experience. We are now putting some of the information that we learned in the classroom to use in another classroom. The children love having us there, and it is a fun change of pace for us college students
