I have over twenty-seven (27) years of professional experience in education and human services, and have served in many capacities in a variety of professional settings, including K-12 education, higher education, social service agencies, and independent consulting. Throughout the years, I have also provided a variety of training and workshops for numerous organizations.

I am the Director of Employment Services at Kellogg Community College. In this role, I serve as chief administrator of the Student Employment Service (SEC) office, which provides a full range of employment services for current students, alumni, and employers. The SEC works with job developers in Barry, Branch and Calhoun counties who work with faculty, co-op coordinators and community placement personnel to help students and alumni develop permanent job leads and work experience opportunities.

I received my Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from Kalamazoo College in Sociology and Anthropology (with minors in Spanish and Education), a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Education from Western Michigan University (WMU), and have completed postgraduate studies in Special Education and Educational Leadership at WMU. I am currently a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) student in Evaluation, Measurement, and Research at WMU.

In addition, I hold current and active memberships with the Michigan Association for Evaluation (MAE), the American Evaluation Association (AEA), the American Educational Research Association (AERA), and the National Council on Measurement in Education (NCME).
