Parents

Welcome parents! This Web site is designed to help you stay in close updated on your child's education. I will frequently update this site to keep you posted on upcoming school events and homecoming assignments. Currently, you can find several important resources for yourself and your child, including: a short movie introducing myself and Ms. Colwell, the weekly classroom newsletter, a brief introduction to the Kaboose Kids database, important internet links, and examples of my life experiences with children.
My Experiences
- Clarkston SCAMP; July 2005 - Present. SCAMP is a summer day-camp for special needs children held each July in Clarkston, Michigan. For the past three years I have worked as an Adult Aide, usually with children between the ages of 5 and 10, all with varying disabilities. SCAMP Homepage: www.clarkstonscamp.com
- Clarkston Community Schools; April 2007 - Present. When WMU is not in session I subsitute teach in the Special Education department in the Clarkston School District. Usually I am in a different location everyday; somedays I work at the preschool building, others I work with the Post-High School students. It is a very rewarding and unique experience.
