My Teaching Experiences

Over the past couple years, I have spent time teaching a very wide range of ages, and students. I spent my second semester of my 2007 school year teaching 1st grade at Chime Elementary school for my pre internship. This was a really enjoyable and positive experience, I worked one on one with children who where having a hard time in reading and learning to read. From there, I began assisting in teaching in both the lower level and higher level Special Education at Macomb Intermediate Schools. I have also spent some time substitute teaching in both general and special education in the Kalamazoo Public School system. However i have much more experience with working outside of the school system with special education children because of my extensive volunteer work. Every one of my teaching experiences have been very positive and rewarding.
