This is a little about my professional career!!!
I love to learn and help others learn. I have always been known as "bookworm" you cant keep me away from books. I knew I wanted to be a teacher when I was in 6th grade because I thought my 5th grade teacher Mrs. Burton from Havel Elementary school was the best teacher ever. She helped me so much as a student and since then i have always wanted to help other students grow into a very intelligent human being.
My Education
From kindergarten to 6th grade i attended Havel Elementary school where i got a basic elementary education. After i graduated form Havel I went on to spend my 7th and 8th grade at Bemis Jr. High where again i got a basic jr high education. After i completed my two years there I went to Henry Ford II high school. this is where I first dedicated myself to becoming a future teacher, i took harder accelerated classes and joined many groups that volunteered at things like schools, Special Olympics, etc. I graduated high school in 2005 with a solid GPA. From there i went on to Western Michigan University to get my major in special education and my minor in physical education. I graduated from WMU in 2010 but i soon hope to go back to school somewhere to get my masters degree.

However I do want to go back to school somewhere and receive my masters degree in Special Education. I someday hope to retire and move someplace warm and to be looked at as one of the best special education teachers in Michigan.
My Hobbies & Volunteering
I have many hobbies outside of school, for example I absolutely love to travel. I have visited Australia, Mexico, Canada, Germany, and Ireland and hope to one day go back to all of them and more. I enjoy any type of music. Rock, classical, hip hop, country, i like it all. I also love to play sports like football, soccer, and baseball. But i absolutely love the outdoors, i love fishing, hunting, hiking, and especially disc golf. along with my many hobbies I do volunteer activities. I was apart of the Alpha Lambda Delta, an honors society at Western Michigan University, known for promoting volunteer activities. I also was the vice president of The Interact Club, a volunteering club at my old high school Henry Ford II. I also took on a volunteer opportunity at Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo, and Special Olympics throughout the state of Michigan. all of these opportunities gave me a greater appreciation for the profession I have chosen and makes me feel allot better as a person. Today, I still look to get involved in the community, especially around children with mental and physical handicaps.
