I went into college knowing exactly what I wanted to do with my life, but once I started taking classes and going through the experience I found myself questioning whether or not I really wanted to just settle for one. Being at Western Michigan University I have realized how many different majors and minors there are to choose from, which opens many opportunities to me when I graduate. But after finishing my very first semester as a freshman I decided to major in Business Advertising and minoring in Fashion Design. I have always wanted to own my own business of some kind, but if it had to do with fashion that would be an even better goal for me to achieve. Fashion is something that makes me truely happy and I would love to make it my career, and advertising is just something that I have been interested in since I was a freshman in high school.

One goal I have for myself is to keep my GPA at a 3.5 and so far that has been a challenging goal for me. I know how serious school is and how important it is for me to get good grades, because these are the things that matter, so that is why I am trying to keep my grades up. The other life goal I have for myself is to start my own clothing line. I hope that going to WMU will help me with that goal; I have the motivation now all I need is the smarts. I know I have the will power to accomplish these goals, and I will. When I graduate watch for my clothes; they are going to be the next hottest thing!
