My college years here at Western Michigan University mean more to me than just getting good grades and a degree. College is also a time for me to find out who I really am, meet new people, and get a head start on getting my life together. During the next 4 years, I want to find out more about myself and what it is that I really want in life. I know that I will make mistakes down the road, but that will not discourage me from following my dreams. I want to become more mature, and leave my past let downs behind as I start on a clean slate. I want to make new friends; friends that will encourage me the whole way through. College is also a time to start getting your life together, as I mentioned before. I want a head start on what my life is going to consist of. Overall, I want to become a stronger, smarter and more dependable person.

Here at Western Michigan University, I want to gain the knowledge that will someday make me successful, preferably in the business world. I have always been interested in business and marketing, so I am considering a career in business sales and marketing, or accounting. I will be around others who know how to succeed, who therefore can teach me to do the same. I hope to keep my grades high so that when the time comes for me to start my interviewing, I won’t have a problem getting the job I want because I will have a great transcript to show the company interviewing me. I know that if I keep my goals set, I will have a successful 4 years here at Western Michigan University.
