My name is Clark Olmsted and I was born and raised in Portage, MI. I have two old sisters, Jenny and Heather. My mom and dad, Dorothy and Clark, have been married for 33 years. Jenny is 29 years old and is married with a 1 year old son, named Henry. Heather is 26 years old and currently is living with her longtime boyfriend, Joe.

My favorite sport is baseball and my I love the Chicago Cubs. Someday I would love to live in or around the Chicago area. I also enjoy watching basketball and the occassional hockey game. My real love is computers though, I have been messing around fixing or repairing them since I was about 10 years old.

I was born and raised in Portage, which is just about 15 minutes south of Kalamazoo. We have two public high schools here in Portage, Portage Central and Portage Northern. I attended Portage Central. We are home to the pharmaceutical company Pfizer. According to a 2000 Census there are 44,897 people living in Portage.

I have a number of hobbies I enjoy but I would saying my number one hobby at the moment would be improving and developing my website, www.mytopstudentdeals.com. I have loved building and repairing computers since I was about 10 years old and started messing around with web design around the age of 15 and have loved it ever since. I have designed a couple websites for some small businesses and also have done some for myself just for fun. Currently most of my time is spent tinkering around with www.mytopstudentdeals.com

Mytopstudentdeals helps connect college students with the best coupons and deals that local companies have to offer. We started the company in East Lansing, while my two business partners attended MSU. I have now been working on getting local businesses around the Kalamazoo area to join our website. Working on this website for the past couple years has really helped grow my knowledge of web design and the internet in general.

We have just re-designed the website with facebook connect integration and now have an area where each business who joins with us can sign in and update their page or add coupons themselves. I have also just launched a mobile version of our website so anyone browsing our website on a phone will be able to use the coupons without needing to even print the coupons off. One thing I would like to do and have been trying to learn more about is making an iPhone application.
