Short Bio - Clark Olmsted
	My name is Clark Olmsted and I was born and raised in Portage, MI. I have two old sisters, Jenny and Heather. My mom and dad, Dorothy and Clark, have been married for 33 years. Jenny is 29 years old and is married with a 1 year old son, named Henry. Heather is 26 years old and currently is living with her longtime boyfriend, Joe. My favorite sport is baseball and my I love the Chicago Cubs. Someday I would love to live in or around the Chicago area. I also enjoy watching basketball and the occassional hockey game. My real love is computers though, I have been messing around fixing or repairing them since I was about 10 years old.

View Larger Map	I was born and raised in Portage, which is just about 15 minutes south of Kalamazoo. We have two public high schools here in Portage, Portage Central and Portage Northern. I attended Portage Central. We are home to the pharmaceutical company Pfizer. According to a 2000 Census there are 44,897 people living in Portage.
Hobbies
	I have a number of hobbies I enjoy but I would saying my number one hobby at the moment would be improving and developing my website, www.mytopstudentdeals.com. I have loved building and repairing computers since I was about 10 years old and started messing around with web design around the age of 15 and have loved it ever since. I have designed a couple websites for some small businesses and also have done some for myself just for fun. Currently most of my time is spent tinkering around with www.mytopstudentdeals.com Mytopstudentdeals helps connect college students with the best coupons and deals that local companies have to offer. We started the company in East Lansing, while my two business partners attended MSU. I have now been working on getting local businesses around the Kalamazoo area to join our website. Working on this website for the past couple years has really helped grow my knowledge of web design and the internet in general. We have just re-designed the website with facebook connect integration and now have an area where each business who joins with us can sign in and update their page or add coupons themselves. I have also just launched a mobile version of our website so anyone browsing our website on a phone will be able to use the coupons without needing to even print the coupons off. One thing I would like to do and have been trying to learn more about is making an iPhone application.
Accomplishments
Home I would have to say the one thing I am very proud of at home is being the resident computer guru. All the computers in my parents house were built by me and I maintain them all. I do the same for many friends as well. I actually even had a little computer reapair business for a couple years but had to put it aside when I decided to return to college.	School The one thing I am proud of at school would have to simply be the fact that I have decided to return to college and finish up my degree. After two years of college I decided to take a couple years off to try and start up a computer repair business. I also launched my website, www.mytopstudentdeals.com during that time. I have now decided that it is important for me to have a degree, even if I do decide to continue to be an entrepreneur.

www.mytopstudentdeals.com	This is by far my favorite website, mainly because it was created by me! I am constantly updating and refining things on this website. I also love to check out what new coupons busineses are adding and seeing how many coupons our users print out.
www.facebook.com	I would have to say facebook is one of the sites I visit the most, I just enjoy to keep up on what all my friends are donig. I have a lot of friends who have either gone away for college or who have graduated college and moved away for their jobs. Facebook allows me to keep up on how they are doing.
www.digg.com	Digg is a great place for me to keep up on the news stories for the day. If you are not familiar with digg, every news story that is submitted is done so by a fellow user on digg and everyone gets to vote or "digg" whether they like that story. The stories with the most diggs get promoted to the homepage where everyone can see them.
www.revision3.com	I have been following revision3 since the begginning, I used to be a huge TechTV until comcast bought it and ruined it by turning it into G4. Revision3 is kind of like the internet version of TechTV, the people who started revision3 were all from TechTV.
www.twit.tv	TWIT is another internet podcast/vidcast site created by a ex-TechTV employee, perhaps by favorite one, Leo Laporte. I watch just about every podcast he does on twit.tv.
