Collegiate Objective

I hope to finish college with an understanding of what my life is going to consist of. I hope that the next three years help me to reach my goals, create opportunity, and provide direction for the rest of my life. My goals involve the desire to learn from experience and finish school with a positive attitude towards my future paths. I plan to major in Accounting and minor in Finance, with this academic focus I hope to gain acceptance to Law school. I think that a person creates his/her own opportunity. I am focused on achieving an opportunity to succeed in everything I do. I think college has already helped me to reach my goals, it has led me to my favorite hobby and passion, climbing. While in college pursuing my goals, I work at the local climbing gym which doubles as a business learning opportunity. I would like be a lawyer for an outdoor recreation corporation, so that I have the opportunity to be outside while still focusing on my career aspirations and goals.

I entered college because I want to be able to succeed; I believe that my best chance of success is to stay on the path that I am on. It will not only help me to learn and grow, but it will give me life experiences that I would not have had otherwise. I think that college is a necessary element to my future success. Four years of college will help me to begin a career with knowledge and experience that I hope to gain at Western Michigan University.
